It will be available exclusively to residents of municipalities in Step 2, who may travel to municipalities in Step 2 or higher.
It will be available at the Virtual Police Station from January 4 to March 31.
It will be granted only once and can only be used for one destination that is at the same step or higher.
The travel date must be listed, and the return date must be provided prior to the end of the trip. The destination and origin addresses must be listed in both cases.
The authorization is granted for a single destination, and you must remain there throughout your stay and follow the Step-by-Step Plan regulations in place in the municipality you visit.
This authorization will not be valid for individuals who live in municipalities that are in Step 1 (under quarantine).
It may only be used once between January 4 and March 31.
In order to travel this summer, you will also need your health passport, which you can obtain online at www.C19.cl.
Adults are responsible for securing the authorization, so children of divorced parents under the age of 18 may go on vacation once with each parent.
Authorization to return to one’s home municipality may be obtained through the Virtual Police Station.
There is no time limit on the authorization, but the conditions set for the step that the destination municipality is in must be followed throughout your stay.
