Electronic Business Matching Forum between Chile and Turkey opens up new business prospects

Electronic Business Matching Forum between Chile and Turkey opens up new business prospects
Between June 3 and 16, eleven Turkish importers held meetings with Chilean dried and dehydrated fruit companies. The activity was designed to generate new exports to that market.

For 13 days, a total of 34 Chilean exporters took part in an electronic business matching forum in which they met virtually with 11 importers of dried and dehydrated foods in Turkey.

A total of 105 meetings took place with the participation of Chilean companies from the Valparaíso, Metropolitan, Coquimbo, Maule, Atacama, Araucanía and Los Lagos Regions, along with those companies represented by the Chile Prunes trade association.

“The Turkish importers showed great interest in the Chilean products. This is confirmed by the number of meetings. We hope that the results of this electronic business matching forum are really positive for Chile and its companies during this difficult time that the world is going through,” highlighted Özge Tuysuzoglu, ProChile’s commercial director in Turkey.

This electronic business matching forum is among ProChile’s efforts to retain and increase Chile’s foreign trade and to keep connecting Chilean companies with global demand during the pandemic caused by COVID-19.
