The Pacific Alliance National Coordinators meet to talk about areas of action for addressing the COVID-19 pandemic
This was a virtual meeting organized by the pro tempore president, Chile.

The National Coordinators of Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru are responsible for coordinating the different implementation actions involved in the Pacific Alliance integration process. Their role also involves monitoring the commitments agreed to by the High-Level Group, the Council of Ministers and the Heads of State of the four countries. The National Coordinators held a virtual meeting to talk about the potential actions that the technical groups have been looking into and share with one another information about the actions that countries are taking to address the COVID-19 pandemic. The meeting was organized by the pro tempore president, Chile.

The Pacific Alliance has agreed on the need to address the social and economic impacts and highlighted that, once this emergency is over, the institutions of this integration process will aim to stimulate a rapid recovery of economic activity in order to contribute to economic growth and the wellbeing of citizens.

The next steps include a presentation to the High-level Group, which comprises the Vice Ministers of Trade and Foreign Affairs of the four countries. This will take place soon.
